Animation Rave

This is the after-party of the Jerusalem Animation Festival, and the brief matched the occasion: bring the animation world to the dancefloor. The whole set is VJed from the cartoon world — old animation, familiar characters, and stranger psychedelic figures — cut together live so the screen becomes a channel-surf through moving-image culture.

Concept

An animation festival’s after-party should be made of animation. The set leans all the way in: cartoon material remixed on the fly, tuned to the music and the room, celebrating the very medium the festival is built around.

How it works

Performed live in Resolume — clips triggered, layered, and mixed in real time against the music, so no two moments of the night look the same.
